New Online Services in the Works

eGovernment recently launched several new online services to provide citizens with convenient payment options for recurring fees and popular products.

The new Oakland County spiral bound 2005 Oakland County Street Atlas is available for purchase online. This full color, 8.5 inch by 11 inch spiral bound atlas includes all the roads in Oakland County as of January 1, 2005.

Another convenient online service recently launched is the Assumed, or Business Name Search brought to you by  the Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Office. This is a free service that looks-up requested business names to see if they're available in Oakland County.

Other projects currently underway in eGovernment include:

  • Web system package and promotion to other governments (reseller/provider)
  • Web public interface redesign
  • Enterprise portal and Single Sign-On ("OakSource") for County employees
  • Identity and access management integration (for password-protected sites)
  • Enterprise Calendar System
  • CLEMIS Community CrimeWatch project, which provides Web site, hosting and content management services to 20 police and public safety agencies within Oakland County
  • eForms and eSearch feasibility studies
  • eRegistration and eReservations
