About the eGovernment Group

The Oakland County eGovernment Group is comprised of a team of individuals within the Department of Information Technology. They serve as the coordinating function, as well as management and implementation of the many eGovernment projects successfully completed and currently underway.

It is directed by Oakland County Deputy Executive and Chief Information Office, Phil Bertolini, and IT Director Ed Poisson. Its Steering Committee consists of key directors, chiefs and managers throughout all of Oakland County government and its technology staff.

The eGovernment Project Team is headed by Chief Jim Taylor, under the supervision of Dale Kukla, Manager of the eGovernment Group. Ed Sager provides management over the Access Oakland unit, providing digital commerce, security and infrastructure support.

eGovernment includes integration with applications and systems, particularly Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the Wireless Oakland initiative under the direction of Scott Oppman, Manager of Application Services.

Please feel free to contact us for additional information or questions. It is our sincere effort to be open to sharing our experiences about eGovernment and its implementation here at Oakland County, Michigan.
