Brandon-at-a-Glance

Brandon Township, located at the north end of Oakland County, is a community of approximately 15,000 residents. The rural setting of the township attracts people who want to enjoy the outdoors and are looking for a bit more room to raise their children. The township surrounds the Historic Village of Ortonville.

In the local neighborhoods, dirt roads with horseback riders and tractors are typical, with plenty of wildlife all around. New homes and planned subdivisions have been developing over the last several years adding diversity to the neighborhood. This is county living that’s just a stone’s throw from major shopping like Great Lakes Crossing, and entertainment attractions like DTE Energy Theatre, The Palace, and Pine Knob Ski Resort.
