Bloomfield Hills

Chartered in 1932, the City of Bloomfield Hills is a gracious The City of Bloomfield Hillsresidential community with rolling hills, scenic lakes and  elegant homes nestled on manicured lawns. Our five-square-mile city is bisected by Woodward Avenue and is home to 4,000 residents.

The Bloomfield Open Hunt Club has hosted horse shows for over 50 years is home to the Motor City Horse Show. Over 500 individuals from around the world attend this celebrated event making it one of the largest on the circuit.

Bloomfield’s Oakland Hills Country Club is a private golf club, which has hosted several of golf’s most celebrated tournaments including, the U.S. Open, the PGA and the Ryder Cup. In 2008, the Oakland Hills Country Club will once again host the PGA Championship.

Bloomfield Hills also boasts the Cranbrook Educational Community, which spans 315 acres and is world renowned for its educational and cultural contributions. Cranbrook schools include a distinguished K-12 private education program and an art academy, which is the only graduate program in the country dedicated exclusively to the fine arts. Additional, cultural offerings include Cranbrook’s grand manor home with impeccable gardens, the Cranbrook Art Museum and the Cranbrook Institute of Science.

 The Cranbrook Educational Community
Established in 1827, the Charter Township of Bloomfield is the oldest township in Oakland County and one of Michigan’s most prestigious communities. Woodward Dream Cruise
Held on the 3rd Saturday in August, the Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day automotive event. The annual event attracts over 40, 000 cars and 1.5 million spectators. The cruise spans 16 miles and the communities of Berkley, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Ferndale, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac and Royal Oak.
