Lake Angeles-at-a-Glance

With a population of only 318, Lake Angelus has the Lake Angelus distinction of being Oakland County’s smallest city. Named after the body of water it surrounds, this 1.5 square mile community is located in the northeast corner of Oakland County’s “lakes area,” near I-75 and M-24.

This close-knit community features upscale homes on  winding, tree-lined roads. Residents of this tranquil community are dedicated to preserving the natural beauty that surrounds them.

Almost entirely residential, this small community is home to the historic McMath-Hubert Observatory. This educational icon has brought generations of star gazers closer to the wonders of the universe.

With its prime location, beautiful scenery and tranquility, Lake Angelus is truly an exceptional city.
