Current Focus

Mr. Adams is a Senior Business Development Representative with Oakland County. He is responsible for assisting companies from North America that are seeking to locate or expand.  He also specializes in the Communication/IT Software and Homeland Security sectors as part of the County's Emerging Sector program. He provides a full range of economic development assistance to clients including site location assistance and financing.

Professional Background

Successful projects include Lear, LG Chemical, BorgWarner, Ceradyne, UniSolar Lotus Engineering, Raymond James and National City. 

Mr. Adams is the current Chairman of the Michigan Global Partnership North America Committee a statewide business attraction partnership. Mr. Adams is a former Committee Chair for Leadership Oakland's Economy and Government Day and a graduate of Leadership Oakland X. He is a former Board Member of the Michigan Economic Development Association and past Chair of the Detroit Chamber Canadian Business Attraction Committee. Mr. Adams served as President of his homeowners association for two years.

Mr. Adams is a certified Development Financial Associate, certified Michigan Small Business Counselor, licensed Realtor and graduate of Northwestern University.
