Clinton River Basin Watershed Initiative
Products and Tools
The Clinton River Basin Watershed Initiative (CRBWI) Project resulted in the completion of several new watershed-oriented local planning and implementation tools. The Watershed Information Management System (WIMS) is a web-based, one-stop site for accessing geographic, hydrologic flow and water quality information pertinent to the restoration and management of the Clinton River Watershed. You can access the WIMS at http://wims.tetratech-ffx.com/wims. The Water Quality Modeling Report (file size 11m) comprehensively describes the physical behavior of the water body and how it changes over time under various scenarios and assumptions. Copies of the model data files are available upon request.
The Site Evaluation Tool (file size 3.1m) is an Excel program that allows users to evaluate potential benefits of various Best Management Practices at the site development scale. If this Excel program does not operate correctly on your computer, please refer to the last page of the SET User Manual (file size 3.0m), which provides information to modify your computers macro security settings. This manual was developed to assist users in how to effectively use this tool.
The Clinton River Restoration Plan is an updated Remedial Action Plan (RAP) prepared under the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement. A RAP identifies specific problems called Beneficial Use Impairments in a Great Lakes Area of Concern and describes methods for correcting them. The RAP Summary (file size 4.9m) is a concise summary of the Full RAP (file size 54m) with appendices. You will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader if it is not already installed on your system.
