Clinton River Basin Watershed Initiative
The Clinton River Basin Watershed Initiative (CRBWI) was a two-year effort (January 2006 - March 2008) to integrate valuable information about the Clinton River Watershed that was available, but not readily accessible. By compiling the data and seeking input from watershed stakeholders, the CRBWI was able to generate easy-to-use tools to promote coordinated local decision-making and action. The goal of the CRBWI was to give watershed stakeholders access to the information needed to identify and implement solutions to improve, restore, and protect the Clinton River Watershed.
The CRBWI also produced an updated Clinton River Watershed Restoration Action Plan (RAP) for this particular Great Lakes Area of Concern (AOC).
