Small Claims Fees



 Small Claims Filing Fees
 Claim is $600 and under  $25
 Claim is $601 - $1750  $45
 Claim is $1751 - $3000  $65
 Small Claims Service Fees
 If the Defendant lives in Troy or Clawson  $29 per Defendant
 If the Defendant lives anywhere else in Oakland, Macomb, or Wayne counties  $45 per Defendant
 If the Defendant lives outside of the tri-county area, the service fee will be increased and you will be billed by the court officer.
