52/3 Probation Officers
Elizabeth Arbus Elizabeth Arbus has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since September of 2004. Previously, she was a Community Corrections Specialist II for Oakland County's Community Corrections Division. Elizabeth interned with 52/4 District Court in 1998 and was a volunteer Probation Officer for the City of Troy for 4 years. In addition, she conducted pre-sentence investigations and alcohol assessments for the 50th District Court as a contract employee. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development, specializing in Human Services in 1998 at Oakland University. She has successfully completed the Fundamentals of Alcohol and other Drug Problems, SPEX and IC/RC-Counselor exams and is currently working toward becoming a Certified Addictions Counselor Level I and a Certified Criminal Justice Professional.
DeAnne Bukari, Chief Probation Officer DeAnne Bukari has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court for over 25 years. She attended Oakland University where she earned a Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling. She is a member of national drug court associations and Michigan professional organizations. Her specialized State of Michigan licenses include Master Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor. In 2005, she became the intensive probation officer serving in the 52/3 Sobriety Court program. She supervises four probation investigators and seven probation officers.
Beth Cristobal Beth Cristobal has served as a Probation Officer since May 2000. Prior to May 2000, Ms. Cristobal worked as a Pretrial Services Investigator assigned to this court and has previous social work experience at other organizations within the community. Beth Cristobal earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. She belongs to professional organizations at the national and state level. Ms. Cristobal is also a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor and Certified Criminal Justice Professional from the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals.
Beth Goldsworthy
Ms. Goldsworthy has been a Probation Officer for the 52nd District Courts since 1990 and at 52/3 specifically, since October 1992. Ms. Goldsworthy is a graduate of Central Michigan University and is a licensed Social Worker and Certified Addictions Counselor I.
Shelly McLeod
Shelly McLeod has been employed with the 52nd District Courts since 1990, serving the public as a law clerk, criminal clerk, civil clerk and traffic supervisor. In March 2008, she became a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court. Additionally, she worked at Community Corrections as a specialist. She is a graduate of Oakland University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is working toward her Master's degree in Public Administration and FAODP.
Kristin Wojtuniecki Kristin Wojtuniecki has served as a Probation Officer at the 52/3 District Court since March 2005. Previously, she completed an internship at the 52/4 District Court in Troy. Kristin graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. She is FAODP (Fundamentals of Alcohol and other Drug Problems) certified. Currently, she is working towards her CCJP certification and her M.A. in Counseling at Oakland University.
Sheri Zelek Sheri Zelek has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since 1995. Prior to this, she completed an internship through the Walled Lake Court in 1993. She has also worked for the 46th District Court in Southfield, and 52/1 District Court in Novi. Sheri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated cum laude from Oakland University. She is certified in Michigan as an Addictions Counselor.
Catherine A. Zoss Catherine Zoss has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since October 1992 and an Oakland County Employee since 1989 where she was employed as a Classification Agent and a Deputy I. She is a graduate of Oakland University with a Master's Degree in Counseling and is a Licensed Professional Counsel and Social Worker. Michigan Certification for Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor (CAAC).
