Lynda Hammerstein, Court Administrator
Lynda Hammerstein was appointed Court Administrator to the 3rd Division of the 52nd District Court in January of 1986. Prior to her appointment as administrator, Ms. Hammerstein worked for the Court Administrator of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court for 11 years. Ms. Hammerstein has been active in educating local community organizations on the operation of the court system. She belongs to professional administrative organizations nationally and throughout the state.
Lorna Skipworth, Deputy Court Administrator Lorna Skipworth was appointed Deputy Court Administrator for the 3rd Division of the 52nd District Court in June of 2003. Ms. Skipworth has worked for the 52nd District Court since 1986 in various capacities. She was employed at 52/2 District Court in Clarkston and 52/1 District Court in Novi, serving in all departments and as a supervisor. She was a member of the Oakland County JIMS Project which involved the development of an integrated case management system. Ms. Skipworth currently serves as the Sobriety Court Coordinator for 52/3 District Court. Ms. Skipworth is a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She is a member of the Southeast Michigan District Court Administrators Association and the Michigan Association of Drug Court Professionals.
