Renée S. Gillert, Court Administrator Renée S. Gillert began her career with the 3rd Division of the 52nd District Court in August, 2008 as Deputy Court Administrator. In July, 2009 Ms. Gillert was appointed Court Administrator. Beginning her court career in 1990, she has worked for the 46th, 48th and 45-B District Courts in various financial and administrative capacities. In addition, she has served as a Financial Consultant to several district courts in Southeast Michigan and is one of the founders of the District Court Financial Network. She currently serves as the Sobriety Court Coordinator for 52/3. Ms. Gillert is a graduate of Walsh College of Accountancy with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and the Institute for Court Management's Court Executive Development Program. She has served on the Michigan Supreme Court Task Force for Effective Court Collections and is a member of national, state and local court manager and drug court associations.
Lynda Hammerstein, Deputy Court Administrator Lynda Hammerstein was appointed Court Administrator to the 3rd Division of the 52nd District Court in January of 1986. In July, 2009 Ms. Hammerstein retired from the position of Court Administrator and accepted a position as part-time Deputy Court Administrator. Prior to her appointment as administrator, Ms. Hammerstein worked for the Court Administrator of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court for 11 years. Ms. Hammerstein has been active in educating local community organizations on the operation of the court system. She belongs to professional administrative organizations nationally and throughout the state.
