52-2 Probation Departement Information

The 52/2 District Court Probation Department has three full-time probation officers, one full-time Sobriety Court probation officer, two part-time court investigators and three probation clerks.  In addition to supervision of offenders, the department conducts pre-sentence investigations and alcohol assessments.  The probation officers initiate and conduct probation violation hearings when a violation of a condition of sentence has occurred. 

Caseload numbers for probation, as well as referrals for assessments have increased over the recent years. Each probation officer supervises over 400 probationers.
