Elizabeth Arbus has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since September of 2004. Previously, she was a Community Corrections Specialist II for Oakland County's Community Corrections Division. Elizabeth interned with 52/4 District Court in 1998 and was a volunteer Probation Officer for the City of Troy for 4 years. In addition, she conducted pre-sentence investigations and alcohol assessments for the 50th District Court as a contract employee. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development, specializing in Human Services in 1998 at Oakland University. She is also a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). This certification is reciprocal with other IC&RC member boards. The IC&RC's membership currently includes more than 62 boards in the United States, Indian Health Services, U. S. Military, U. S. Federal Court Administrators and many foreign countries including Canada, Sweden, Bermuda, Germany, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
DeAnne Bukari, Chief Probation Officer
DeAnne Bukari has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court for over 25 years. She attended Oakland University where she earned a Master's Degree in Guidance & Counseling. She is a member of national drug court associations and Michigan professional organizations. Her specialized State of Michigan licenses include Master Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor. In 2005, she became the intensive probation officer serving in the 52/3 Sobriety Court program. She supervises three probation investigators, seven probation officers and three university interns. In 2009, she was asked to join the Oakland University Social Work Advisory Board.
Beth Cristobal has served as a Probation Officer since May 2000. Prior to May 2000, Ms. Cristobal worked as a Pretrial Services Investigator assigned to this court and has previous social work experience at other organizations within the community. Beth Cristobal earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Central Michigan University and a Master of Social Work degree from Wayne State University. She belongs to professional organizations at the national and state level. Ms. Cristobal is also a Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor and Certified Criminal Justice Professional from the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals.
Andrea Ernst has been employed as a Pre-Sentence Investigator with the 52/3 District Court since 2002, becoming a Probation Officer in July 2013. Previously, she was employed with the Michigan Department of Corrections as a Probation/Parole Officer, assigned to the Tether Unit. In addition, she conducted Pre-Sentence Investigations and Alcohol Assessments at the 52/1 District Court, was a Private Investigator at Cambridge Investigations and completed her internship at the 47th District Court. Andrea graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts, double majoring in Interior Design and Criminal Justice.
Andrea Ewer has been employed with the 52/3 District Court since 2003. She has worked as a court recorder, criminal clerk, civil clerk and traffic clerk. From August 2005 until January 2007, Andrea served as a volunteer probation officer with the 48th District Court in Bloomfield Hills. She is a graduate of Michigan State University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Criminal Justice. She has completed the Fundamentals of Alcohol and other Drug Problems certification.
Shelly McLeod has been employed with the 52nd District Courts since 1990, serving the public as a law clerk, criminal clerk, civil clerk and traffic supervisor. In March 2008, she became a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court. Additionally, she worked at Community Corrections as a specialist. She is a graduate of Oakland University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She is working toward her Master's degree in Public Administration and FAODP.
Molly Neumann has been employed as a Pre-Sentence Investigator with the 52/3 District Court since 2007, becoming a Probation Officer in January 2013. Previously, she was employed with the Michigan Department of Corrections as a Probation Officer and a Court Liaison. In addition, she conducted pre-sentence investigations and alcohol assessments as an employee of the 44th District Court. She also completed an internship through the Ingham County Probate Court and was a volunteer Probation Officer with the 52/4 District Court. Molly graduated from Michigan State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
Kristin (Wojtuniecki) Jackson
Kristin Jackson has served as a Probation Officer at the 52/3 District Court since March 2005. Kristin earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts Degree in Community/Agency Counseling from Oakland University. She is FAODP (Fundamentals of Alcohol and other Drug Problems) certified and is currently working towards a CAAC (Certified Advanced Addictions Counselor) certification. In addition, Kristin serves as an intensive probation officer for the 52/3 District Court Sobriety Court Program. She is a member of various professional organizations including MADCPO, ODCAP, and MADCP.
Sheri Zelek has served as a Probation Officer at 52/3 District Court since 1995. Prior to this, she completed an internship through the Walled Lake Court in 1993. She has also worked for the 46th District Court in Southfield, and 52/1 District Court in Novi. Sheri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated cum laude from Oakland University. She is certified in Michigan as an Addictions Counselor.
