Community Based Services
Community based services are the Court's dispositional alternatives which allow a juvenile to remain at home with his or her family while completing the requirements of the dispositional order. Community based services currently include three levels of probation and two day treatment programs.
Residential Services are the Court's dispositional alternatives which remove a juvenile from residing in his or her family home while completing the requirements of the dispositional order. Residential Services currently include treatment programs at Oakland County Children's Village in Waterford, Crossroads For Youth treatment programs in Oxford, private agency placement on a case by case basis, and commitment to the Family Independence Agency as a Public Act 150 ward.
Other Court Requirements
Other court requirements are the Court's list of requirements to be placed in dispositional orders that allow the court to individually tailor a dispositional plan to the needs of each child and family. Other court requirements currently include, but are not limited to, Youth Community Service, Jail Tour, restitution, tethering, counseling and employment.
