The basic function of the Caseflow Unit is to track a case from the day it starts through completion. Within the basic function, many events occur. Civil cases are scheduled for pretrial, case evaluation, hearing and trial. Criminal cases are set for hearings, trials and sentencings. Miscellaneous motions are docketed by the Caseflow Clerk. The Caseflow Clerk also processes adjournments of already scheduled events.
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Unit
(formerly Mediation Department):
ADR is responsible for the Court's Case Evaluation and Mediation.
E-Praecipes are used to schedule a motions for Wednesday motion call.
E-Praecipes are mandatory on all efiling cases; they are voluntary on all other cases.
