Welcome to the Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Web Site/clerkrod/assets/images/ruth_homepage3.jpg

Our office, which has won fourteen national awards for innovative new programs in the last three years, is continually striving to provide our customers with the best possible service at the lowest possible cost.

Please take a moment to browse our expanded online offerings. For example, did you know that you can now apply online for a marriage license?

Need a copy of your birth certificate? The deed to your property? How about a copy of your Oakland Circuit Court Records? We can do that too!

Sign up for our new Election Reminder and we’ll send you a gentle reminder, via email, two weeks before local, school, state and federal elections in our area.

Other new services include our Mobile Office, which may be coming to a neighborhood near you. The no-frills service, provided at virtually no additional taxpayer expense, can provide you with on-the-spot copies of documents you need. Please take a moment to read about our office in the Clerk's Spring Newsletter.
