HAVEN (Help Against Violent Encounters Now): Oakland County's HAVEN has a goal to create violence-free homes and communities by eliminating domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse through treatment and prevention services. MSU Safe Place: MSU Safe Place is for MSU students, faculty, staff, retirees or their partners, and children who are experiencing an emotionally, physically or sexually abusive relationship. All services are free and confidential. Oakland County Coordinating Council Against Domestic Violence: The Coordinating Council provides men and women with information on domestic violence as well as listing shelters and safe houses and publishing the Domestic Violence Handbook. River House Shelter (Grayling, Michigan): The River House Shelter serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Crawford, Ogemaw, Oscoda and Roscommon Counties. Turning Point: Turning Point predominantly services the communities in Macomb County, Michigan but will also service any survivor, from any community, who is in need. This shelter provides a supportive and safe environment for victims of domestic violence.
