  • Recipient of Bachelor of Arts degree in from Miami University in 1970 and Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1973
  • Member of Michigan State Bar Association and the Oakland County Bar Association
  • Served as Chairman of the ADR Section for the State Bar; Past Co-Chair of the OCBA Legislative Committee; Chairman of the Commercial Arbitration Advisory Board for the American Arbitration Association; Fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation
  • Recipient of the Frances Avadenka Memorial Award
  • Currently serves on the Walsh College President's Advisory Council, the Griffin Advisory Board of Central Michigan University, the Board of Trustees of the Michigan Thanksgiving Day Parade Foundation; Board of Directors of Jewish Community Relations Council 
  • Vice President of the Michigan Judges Association
