It is the mission of the Oakland County Children's Village Foundation to generate and disburse financial support and other resources to Oakland County Children's Village for projects including, but not limited, to those which promote, enrich, prevent, rehabilitate and offer educational support to Children's Village residents, family and staff.
Established in 1994, the Children's Village Foundation is a publicly supported organization and is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(a) of the IRS code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3).
The Children's Village Foundation is comprised of a Board of Directors and an Advisory Board. Foundation members represent broad geographic regions of Oakland County and offer a diverse range of professional and personal expertise. The Advisory Board members have allied with Children's Village to serve and promote the projects of the Children's Village Foundation. Members of both boards are strictly volunteer in nature.

Monies generated through two fund-raising events, the "Spring Scramble" golf outing and the "Autumn Adventure" raffle/dinner, go directly toward projects that impact Children’s Village youngsters and their families. Past projects include:
The development of the Children's Village athletic field
Renovation of the Children's Village School library
Tuition scholarship programs for Children's Village youngsters
Grants to the Children's Village School
Pre-vocational programs
Auto Shop program
Purchase of CPR mannequins for staff/resident training
