Inform workers and students about - and train them for - jobs that the County Executive's Emerging Sectors® Program brings to Oakland County.
Accomplishments for 2007
The Oakland County Michigan Works! Service Centers retrained approximately 1,000 workers from various emerging business sector companies.
Oakland Schools aligned their summer school activities with various emerging business sectors.
Launched a "Skills Needs Assessment Checklist" project.
