County Executive's Message

The Roundtable and its four committees: Economic Development, Quality of Life, Transportation, and Workforce and Education have worked diligently to make Oakland County a place to live, work, play and prosper. Their recommendations have improved the county trail system, led to a landmark study to improve housing for county residents and helped develop a booklet with vital information about apprenticeship opportunities in the area. The committees continue to explore ways to improve our crowded roads and increase the pool of venture capital funds available for private investment.

Despite recent economic adversity, Oakland County continues to be the one constant on the horizon -- a beacon of hope on an unforgiving landscape. I need look no further than the talented leaders and visionaries comprising the Business Roundtable to understand why. Thank you for your collective vision, your dedication and your efforts.
