Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

Criminal Justice Coordinating Council

The Board seeks two members of the general public to serve on the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.  As an appointee of the Board of Commissioners, each member will be responsible for helping the council to conduct the following:

  • Identify challenges with the jail system
  • Outline a new jail system
  • Oversee policies, programs, promote fiscal efficiency, and the operation of the system
  • Develop action plans
  • Create a new and improved system
  • Address jail system problems
  • Work with key justice agency officials, law enforcement, county administration, and all general government agencies
  • Promote greater understanding that will enhance the county's criminal justice system

 

Currently, there are no available positions on the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council.  Please check back periodically to see when the next position becomes available.
