Work History:
Commissioner Capello is a practicing attorney, who shares a small office in Novi, Michigan, with his wife Jodi. Mr. Capello has been in private practice for 33 years. His areas of concentration are Business Law, Corporations/Partnerships, Real Estate, Construction, Real Property Development, Land Use and Planning, Litigation, Commercial Leasing, Municipal Law, Divorce, Child Custody, Family Law and Criminal Law.
Kim has served the Novi community as Mayor Pro Tem and as a Councilman. He served on the Planning Commission; Housing and Community Development Committee; Town Center Steering Committee; Ordinance Review Committee; Master Plan and Zoning Committee; and numerous sub-committees over his fifteen years of community involvement. Kim currently sits on the Novi Parks Foundation. Commissioner Capello has served on the Business Law Section, Real Property Law Section, and Environmental Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Personal:
Commissioner Capello has been married to Jodi for twenty-one years. The couple has three children: Danielle, a sophomore at Michigan State University; Dylan, a junior at Novi High School; and Alexa, who is in 7th grade at Novi Middle School.
