Boundaries: Includes the City of Clawson, the majority of central and eastern Troy with a northeastern section of Troy. A southeastern portion of the City of Troy's borders connects to the City of Clawson and a section of the City of Royal Oak.

Personal:
Commissioner Tim Burns is married to Barbara and resides in Clawson.  He is an attorney for the Better Business Bureau and maintains a limited private law practice that focuses on  estate planning and small business representation. 

Commissioner Burns  has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University and has a Jurist Doctorate degree from the University of Detroit/Mercy Law School. He completed his clerkship with the Michigan Attorney General's High Tech Crime Unit and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2000.

He serves on the Board of Directors for the Clawson Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Clawson/Troy Optimist Club and Troy Jaycees.
