YOUTH IN GOVERNMENT DAY, 2009

This is the last year that Pontiac Northern will exist. Next year students will attend the newly formed Pontiac High School, which consolidates the two current Pontiac High Schools, Northern and Central. Pontiac Central also participated in the Youth in Government Day program. Northern Teacher Eloise Williams will be visiting First Lady Michelle Obama. Ms. Williams was one of the women to speak to Mrs. Obama during the presidential campaign when Mrs. Obama visited Pontiac last summer. Ms. Williams was extended a special invitation from the First Lady.
