Commissioner Hoffman is a single parent, who is a lifelong resident of Oakland County. He was born and raised in Waterford Township and has lived in Highland Township for 19 years. He has been  businessman and involved in local government for 40 years. His business experience includes being owner of the following:

  • Hoffman Nursery and Landscaping in Waterford (1971-2013)
  • American Recycling in Waterford (1974-2013)
  • Hoffman Farms in Highland Township (1993-2013)
  • Licensed Residential Builder for 32 years
