The Festivals of Holly From Dickens Olde Fashioned Christmas to Carry Nation
Pontiac, Michigan (November 5, 2004) The Office of Arts, Culture & Film presents a lecture by the Holly Area Chamber of Commerce on The Festivals of Holly From Dickens Olde Fashioned Christmas to Carry Nation on Thursday, November 18, 2004, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Oakland County Lecture Hall.
The presentation will give an inside look at the many festivals and celebrations of Holly, Michigan. Two of Hollys most famous festivals, The Carry Nation Festival and The Dickens Olde Fashioned Christmas Festival, will be discussed in the lecture. For thousands of Michigan families, Christmas just wouldnt be Christmas without attending the Dickens Olde Fashioned Christmas Festival. The presentation will look at the uniqueness and appeal of this festival along with other Holly Area events.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2004, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Oakland County Lecture Hall, Building 49 West on the County campus at 1200 N.
