Pontiac, Michigan (April 14, 2005) The Office of Arts, Culture & Film presents an exhibit featuring the artwork of six Oakland University students entitled Foresight 20/20: Oakland Universitys Upcoming Artists in the Oakland County Galleria. The Artists Reception will be held on Wednesday April 20th from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
The exhibit features artwork from Kyle Irving (Royal Oak), Emma Lawson (Frasier), Christopher Wood (Troy), Michael Dennie (Pontiac), Nathaniel Whitcomb (Royal Oak), and Kelly Fitzsimmons (Waterford). All are students in the Art and Art History program at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
Foresight 20/20 highlights not only the upcoming talent from these students, but it also explores the many different ways of seeing art. The show includes drawing, painting, photography and video art. The exhibit runs through April 22, 2005.
