Waterford, Michigan September 18, 2008 Artworks by Victor Pytko will be on display in the Oakland County Executive Building from September 18, 2008 through November 7, 2008. A reception to meet the artist will be held on Thursday, October 16 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The exhibition, A Collection of Paintings by Victor Pytko, features multimedia paintings of local sites with elements ranging from impressionism to expressionism. I selected the pieces in this show because in each I wanted to reveal something about the world as I saw it, related to it, or wished it to be. Making the expression was the goal. Literature by Victor Pytko will also be included alongside the artwork. See www.oakgov.com/arts/ for details. For information, call (248) 858-4081.
