County of Oakland Annual Spring Auction Set for May 10th

Pontiac, MI, May 2, 2008 The County of Oaklands Annual Spring Auction will kick off on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with a virtual bonanza of surplus equipment, stolen and recovered property and confiscated merchandise. 

Items to be offered for sale at auction include: Ford Crown Victorias; 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe; 2004 Chevrolet Impala; 2003 Buick Regal; 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer and 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.  There will also be various GMC Sierras; Savanas; Suburbans; Sonomas and Safaris on the auction block at bargain basement prices.

In addition, auction-goers will have an opportunity to bid on a wide array of saws, tools and recreational items such as paddleboats; golf clubs and bags; scooters and snowboards. 

Vehicles can be inspected on Friday, May 9th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Vehicles Operations Building, 16E, on County Center Drive East on the Oakland County government campus.  The location is 1 mile south of Dixie Highway and 1.5 miles north of M-59.  Watch for the signs.

All bidders must be registered to bid.  Payment for purchases must be made in cash, cashier checks or certified checks.  Personal checks will be accepted for an amount to not exceed $100 on purchases.
