Patterson Prepares for State of the County Address

Pontiac, MI, February 1, 2007 - Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson will deliver his annual State of the County Address to more than 300 invited guests on Wednesday, February 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Michigan State University Management Education Center, 811 W. Square Lake Road in Troy.

The centerpiece of Patterson's 45 to 50 minute speech will be the unveiling of five funding options for the expansion of Cobo Hall, none of which would require taxpayer dollars. He will also announce a major new partner for the Wireless Oakland project.

In addition, Patterson will review accomplishments of the past year, outline the challenges ahead and reveal new programs planned for 2007.
