Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs Minigrant Application Deadline
Pontiac, Michigan – January 11, 2007 – Oakland County Office of Arts & Culture is accepting grant applications for the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) Minigrant Program. The application deadline for Round Two is February 1 for projects that take place from April 1 through September 30, 2007. Non-profit organizations, schools and local government units located in Oakland County are eligible to apply for funding.
The MCACA Minigrant Program provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance, on a matching basis, for local, high quality arts and cultural projects that recognize a community need and require additional, limited funding to meet that need.
Grant guidelines and application are available on-line at www.artsoakland.com and at the Oakland County Office of Arts & Culture. Applicants residing in counties other than Oakland should contact the office for information on the location of their MCACA regranting agency.
