County of Oakland Spring Auction Blooms with Bargains

Pontiac, MI, May 1, 2006 The County of Oakland's Annual Spring Auction will be held on Saturday, May 13th at the Vehicle Operations Building (#16 East) on the grounds of Oakland County government starting at 8:30 a.m.  Follow the signs.

However, anyone wishing to inspect the vehicles to be auctioned off will have the opportunity to do so on Friday, May 12th between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

On the auction block will be a wide variety of surplus equipment, stolen or recovered property and confiscated merchandise.  Some of the vehicles offered up for sale will include 2001 and 2002 Chevrolet Impalas, a 2003 Mercury Marauder, 2001 and 2002 GMC Savannah Cargo vans, 2001 Chrysler Town and Country, 2002 Chevrolet Blazer, 1967 Lincoln Continental and 2001 Dodge Durango just to name a few.

Other items to be auctioned off include:  bicycles, riding mowers, snow blowers, snow plow, arc welder, power boats, canoe, generator, air compressor and much much more.
