Multi-Billion Dollar Worldwide Corporate Giant To Join Wireless Oakland Project

Pontiac, MI, February 14, 2006 -- Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson has scheduled a news conference to announce that a multi-billion dollar Fortune 100 company with nearly 34,000 employees worldwide will become one of MichTel's new partners in the effort to blanket Oakland County with free wireless Internet service.

Patterson will also reveal additional MichTel partners at the 10:00 a.m. news conference on Wednesday, February 15th in the auditorium of the Information Technology building located at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, Building 49W, Pontiac, Michigan.

MichTel's additional partners will enhance the company's corporate profile and service offerings for the Wireless Oakland project.  MichTel is the private sector provider for Wireless Oakland.
