Oakland County Executive's Website Gets a Fresh, New Look

Pontiac, MI, April 5, 2005 -- Internet surfers will be able to access a brand new feature when they click onto Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson's website. 

The new "Insight" section provides web visitors information, perspective and clarity on a whole host of issues important to Oakland County's future. The first installment is called "Business Wise Approaches to Government: Privatization at Oakland County."  Other position papers available for viewing are "Emerging Sectors: an Update;" "Broadening the Sales Tax: an Oakland County Perspective;" and "Cobo II: an Oakland County Perspective."

Other parts of the County Executive's website have also been revamped including Accomplishments, About the County Executive and Initiatives.  To access the County Executive's website go to http://www.oakgov.com/exec or the Oakland County homepage and click on the Executive link under "Elected Officials."  There is also a teaser on the homepage promoting the latest "Insight" article.
