Patterson Puts Finishing Touches on State of the County Address

Pontiac, MI, February 2, 2004 -- Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson is preparing his 2005 State of the County address which he will deliver on Thursday, February 10th at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Michigan State University Management Conference Center in Troy.

A standing room only crowd of more than 300 people will hear Patterson discuss the major accomplishments of 2004 including Count Your Steps and Emerging Sectors and the challenges that lie ahead for 2005 such as Cobo Hall. During the course of the 45-minute address, Patterson will also unveil a major new technology initiative designed to enhance Oakland County's desirability as a business destination for high tech companies.

Attendance at the State of the County is by invitation only because of limited seating.

Civic Center TV-15 of West Bloomfield is providing production services for the State of the County which will be rebroadcast on many local municipal cable channels in Oakland County. Check with your local cable operator for dates and times.
