A Repeat Performance - Health Division Holds a Second H1N1 Vaccine Clinic at the Palace

Oakland County, Michigan -- Oakland County Health Division (OCHD) will offer a 2009 H1N1 flu vaccine clinic for Oakland County residents on Thursday, November 12, 2009, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In cooperation with The Palace of Auburn Hills, the Health Division will offer the 2009 H1N1 vaccine this Thursday at the following location:

Auburn Hills, Michigan

* Please do not contact The Palace directly.  If you have questions about this clinic, contact the Oakland Gates to The Palace will open at 1:00 pm and doors will open at 2:00 pm.

The initial supply of H1N1 vaccine is limited. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have provided strict guidelines identifying the target population as those who are at greatest risk for severe disease.

The target population is strictly identified as:
• Pregnant women
• Children and young adults 6 months through 24 years of age
• Caregivers for children under 6 months of age
• Adults 25 through 64 years of age with underlying medical conditions
• Healthcare and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers
