The auto parts base in Southfield will serve as a place where Detroit's auto manufacturing community can invest in and cooperate with 13 auto parts manufacturers from Changchun, China. This location is the first of 10 Chinese auto parts bases planned in the United States. Changchun is China's Motor City.
