Oakland County Vaccinates First Responders Against the H1N1 Virus

What:The Oakland County Health Department will vaccinate first responders against the H1N1 virus, today and Monday. Today, health workers will vaccinate Oakland County Sheriff’s Department personnel and workers from private emergency medical services in the county. On Monday, fire fighters and police officers from various Oakland County agencies will take their turn.

It is important to emphasize these two vaccination clinics are not open to the public. These vaccinations are for Oakland County first responders only by appointment, in accordance with the H1N1 vaccination plan unveiled at the October 6, 2009 news conference.

 When:Friday, October 16, 2009, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Monday, October 19, 2009, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
