Brown Bag Lecture Presentation by Dorothy Walker - The Spirit of Black American Artists
Pontiac, MI January 23, 2003-- The Office of Arts, Culture & Film presents a lecture by Dorothy Walker of the Detroit Institute of Arts Speakers Bureau, entitled The Spirit of Black American Artists on Thursday, February 20, 2003, from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Information Technology Lecture Hall.
In honor of Black History Month, the Detroit Institute of Arts has created a new discussion focusing on African American artists and their inspiring works. This is a great opportunity to come and hear, as well as share, ideas and insight of the art created by African Americans.
The presentation will take place on Thursday, February 20, 2003 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Lecture Hall of the Oakland County Information Technology, Building 49 West on the County campus at 1200 N. Telegraph Road, in Pontiac.
