Media Preview of 3rd Annual Quake on the Lake Championship Hydroplane Races

What: News Conference to kick off 3rd Annual Quake on the Lake on  Pontiac Lake in Waterford Township.  More than 75 hydroplane  racers from all across the country will be competing for championship points and prize money during the July 27-28, 2002 event.

When: Monday, June 10, 2002 at 10:00 a.m.

Where: On the beach at the Pontiac Lake Recreation Area on Gale Road, just east of Williams Lake Road in Waterford Township (see  attached map)

Note: Hydroplanes competing in the event will be on display at the news conference and drivers will be available for media interviews.
